At RHD Legal, we believe helping families starts long before a case resolves. Car seat safety is one of the most important—and often overlooked—parts of protecting children after a crash.
Through our Car Seat Safety Initiative, RHD Legal is committed to educating families, supporting our community, and helping ensure children remain protected after motor vehicle collisions.
1. Community Car Seat Check Events – Check Before You Go
Throughout the year—and with expanded programming during Child Passenger Safety Week in September—RHD Legal will host community car seat safety events.
These events may include:
• Complimentary car seat safety inspections
• Installation education and guidance
• Information on proper fit by age, height, and weight
• Child passenger safety education resources
• Community giveaways and family activities
• Partnerships with local safety advocates and organizations
Our goal is simple: reduce preventable injuries through education and awareness.

2. Community Car Seat Donations – Safety Should Never Wait
RHD Legal will donate car seats throughout the year to families and community initiatives when needs arise.
Our donation efforts aim to:
• Support families experiencing hardship
• Assist community organizations and outreach programs
• Promote child passenger safety education
• Increase access to safe transportation options

3. The RHD Legal Car Seat Guarantee
If We Represent Your Child — Your Child’s Safety Comes First.
If RHD Legal is retained to represent an injured child arising from a motor vehicle collision, we will guarantee replacement of the child’s impacted car seat within 24–48 hours as part of our RHD Legal Car Seat Safety Initiative.
How it works:
- RHD Legal confirms representation of the child and verifies the collision and impacted car seat(s)
• We immediately arrange replacement of the seat
• Replacement will be a same model (like-kind) whenever reasonably available or an appropriate upgrade when necessary
• Car seats may be shipped directly to your home or made available for local pickup
• Where appropriate, RHD Legal may pursue reimbursement through available insurance coverage
Our Promise:
If reimbursement for the replacement car seat is ultimately unavailable, unrecoverable, denied, or not included as part of the final case recovery—
YOU DO NOT OWE RHD LEGAL REIMBURSEMENT FOR THE REPLACEMENT CAR SEAT.
That replacement becomes our contribution through the RHD Legal Car Seat Safety Initiative because we believe every child deserves to travel safely—regardless of insurance delays.
